Sessions Talk are for Survivors / Waiting for Diagnosis / Remission
I am a cancer survivor in remission since 1st May 2024 and founder of this website, who went through the roller coaster of treatment pathway and the one thing I needed/wanted sometimes was information, not from the NHS or Trust, the service from that sector for me was brilliant, but with others on a personal level, just to share, compare with others on their own pathway, what was dark days and nights when talking to partners or family wasn't the kind of chat you needed, being of an older age of the pull yourself together generation, I muddled through successfully, but wouldn't wish it on anyone else and there will be those of you who understand my meaning.
This page may seem very formal or clinical but it my contribution to provide a service that may organically grow in the future. I will set up a WhatsApp Group and Facebook page hoping for the best of intentions going forward to be of service to others.
How it works is simple, book a space and I will make arrangement to agree a suitable time for both of us, for what is a simple hello chat, to listen and let it flow and see if I can be of service, I have a skillset to listen and not be judgemental in anyway, which came with old age!
